The ZX 500B, also sold as the GPX 500R, is a 497 cc sports bike from the late 1980s with a liquid-cooled DOHC transverse four and four Keihin carburettors. It was a step up from the 400 cc class in engine size, with a Uni-Trak rear and air-assisted front forks with anti-dive adjustment. Its 16-inch wheels and 1425 mm wheelbase give it a long, stable profile.
